HEALTH FITNESS PROFESSIONAL NEEDED! RICHFIELD, MN

HealthFitness has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Health Fitness Professional at our nationally renowned client site near Minneapolis, MN. This 16,000 sq ft full-service facility is complete with a full-line of cardiovascular and strength equipment, two group exercise studios, and provides its members with a complete range of health and fitness programming including a variety of group exercise classes, massage therapy, personal training and weight management programs. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to utilize and build upon their current fitness and wellness experiences, while working with a dynamic team in a progressive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assisting in daily floor supervision and administration of the fitness center in accordance with HFC protocols. Additional responsibilities include personal training, fitness testing, exercise prescription, new member facility and equipment orientations, development and implementation of health and fitness promotion programs, design and instruction of group exercise classes and daily operational/administrative tasks.

Qualifications: Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree in exercise science or related discipline, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications and ability to instruct a variety of group exercise classes required. Personal training certification from ACE, AFAA, NSCA, or NASM preferred. Additional industry certifications from ACSM or CHES a plus. The successful candidate will also be self-motivated, creative, possess strong interpersonal skills, and is always customer focused.
